Bio

My personal aesthetic is rooted in the natural world and in art. I was born and raised in Alaska and later spent seven years living in Europe. These places have deeply informed how I see and relate to the world. I love to surround myself with nature, art, and meaningful objects. I’m drawn to beauty — whether it’s sitting by the ocean, skiing in the mountains, enjoying compelling  art, or simply placing my feet on a beautifully woven wool rug. I love to move through life by taking it in through my senses.

One of my greatest joys is experiencing and creating beauty with those around me.

I hold a PhD in Scandinavian Design, a bachelor’s degree in Art History, and a master’s degree in Material Culture. This academic foundation informs my work with a refined understanding of how to work with design, form, and materials.
